Our full service tour when selecting catered breaks among unique backdrops with a beautifully-presented charcuterie experience, served in your kayak.

Depending the tour:  minimum 2+ hours up to 4+ hours.
Timing is fluid depending on; tour/skill level of participants/weather conditions.

In general there are public facilities available at launch sites.
Once on tour it's highly unlikely we'll be close by a facility to pause for a washroom break other than being in nature.

Depending the tour selected it is open to all skill levels from Novice to Expert.

Fundamentals of paddling can be provided for the novice paddler upon request. 

Basic paddling fundamentals can and will be provided for the novice paddler that includes mechanics of paddling and safety protocol.

First-time paddling?
Humber River tour is recommended.

Boat rentals are geared toward 15+
The style and size of boats available (Touring class) are generally geared for adult sizes only.
If looking to include children or looking for a custom programmed trip we can review and modify.

Please contact us before booking any tour with children.

We cannot accommodate pets.
While not a guarantee there's usually a lot of animal activity to see on every tour.

We do not recommend taking photos while on a tour.

Losing a cell phone is extremely easy to do while paddling and we want to impress that losing a phone can really impact a tours experience.

If bringing a cell phone with you please consider how you store your phone.

There are pouches available that float and allow access to phones safely.
We do not provide them.

Note: We do take photos while on a tour with your permission and submit them to you after the tour.

Custom photography such as GoPro or Drone is available upon request. Subject to an extra fee.

Boats available have a maximum weight of 320 lbs.

Each boat is approx 70lb.

Gear/food for the tours adds approx. 15 lbs. The balance to measure total weight is passenger specific.

Boat weight maximums must be adhered to with our rental fleet for safety and balance of the kayak. Requiring a larger boat would be subject for rental review.

Custom tours are possible with travel. If there's a location you have in mind please contact us for review of schedule and logistics. Camping is subject to permits which incur extra fees and may be difficult to receive depending on the time of year requested.

Every tour menu is subject to change based on seasonal availability or theme of that tour/collaboration.

Each type of tour has a different menu catering to a tour type time of day. Morning tours will be breakfast oriented items as an example. The premise generally is a mix of charcuterie meat items and seasonal items, cheeses, fruits and often some surprises mixed in.

We do all the preparation and cater for you. Please advise if there are any dietary restrictions to be aware of before your scheduled date.

Weather reports are reviewed 48 and and then rechecked 24 hours before every launch and relayed to you on forecasted conditions.

Should weather be a factor we will recommend rescheduling your tour.

In general the Humber River tour is shielded from lake effects and except for downpour tends to always be favourable in every condition including rain.

If there is a need for the guests to reschedule because life can throw us a curve ball here and there please try to advise us one week (7 days) before your tour launch date.

Refunds/Credits are issued if a tour couldn't be accommodated and the season runs out with no available dates, issued at the end of the season. All bookings are considered final. If a tour is booking with a credit card, refunds are subject to 10% surcharge to cover Bank charges.

Every tour is charted and submitted with a safety check. Your personal information is recorded for your safety. If an emergency occurs all information has to be 100% accurate to facilitate first-responders in assessing the situation and who to contact.

These tours uphold your safety with priority over anything else.

Waivers are required for each booking.

Email address and phone numbers are required for your safety on a tour.
All tours are charted and archived with Adventure Smart Trip Planning.

We encourage you to bring water or a beverage or your choice. Each boat can hold that in place with easy access.

Alcohol is restricted. Bringing alcohol is subject to cancelling any launch.

Paddle Canada Level 2 certification is specifically oriented to helping with boat re-entry.

Safety and steps in case that situation occurs will be reviewed before your launch.

There is ZERO intention to kayak roll on these tours (not great for the food to be rolling around in the boat with you).

If rolling is something you're interested in we're happy to point you to a number of kayak courses that are better suited to learning how to roll.

As an activity on the water rolling is not 100% risk free. The style of boat, weather conditions and what a paddler does or does not do to control stability will greatly increase or reduce the risk of rolling.

If you require to book more guests to reserve please contact us first to review third party rental/bring your own boat and/or special accommodations for a larger group tour or team building exercise.

4. Swimming suits are fine but the intention of these tours are NOT to get wet but also not restricted if you do want to go for a dip. Depending the tour, location is more favourable than others to go for a swim.
